Movement Overviews

MAP’s “big picture” overviews provide LGBT organizations and their funders with a high-level perspective on the myriad issues facing LGBT Americans; the organizations working on those issues and their key methods; and the current financing of this work.

These reports comprise a time-efficient starting point for funders new to the LGBT movement, as well as individuals joining the staff of existing LGBT movement funders or organizations.

MAP hopes that these reports will lead to shared conceptual models (across various organizations and funders) of the interrelations among the issues we face and the ways we together can make the fastest progress in overcoming those issues and improving the lives of LGBT Americans.
